How do Smerf Events work?

Smerf Events let players get more out of their games, and empower community leaders and developers with the ability to creatively challenge and reward their members and players. 

Once you have created an Account, and successfully connected your in-game accounts for your games, you'll be able to participate in Events and earn in-game rewards such as currency, cosmetic items, or consumables. Sometimes, you may even be able to earn exclusive in-app badges that can be equipped to your profile and show off your achievements.  

Events ask players to perform specific in-game actions to complete challenges and receive rewards, or to compete on leaderboards. There are a wide variety of actions that players can be asked to do to complete these challenges. Once players join an Event, Smerf will calculate all of the applicable stats for your account within the timeframe of the Event--even if you join the Event late!

Once you have completed a challenge, you will receive your reward shortly after. Many of these rewards are automatically sent to your in-game account. For others, such as redemption codes, you will have to check back into the Event and claim your reward in order to receive your code. 

Here are some examples of what players can expect to do for Events:

For PGA TOUR 2K23, you may be asked to achieve under a certain score on a specific map, use a playable pro, chip it into the hole from a bunker, or hit 10 Birdies in a row.

For VALORANT, you may be asked to win 100 times on defense, kill specific enemy agents, or hit the most headshots with a the Marshall. 

For League of Legends, you may be asked to earn the most gold in ARAMs, play 20 different Champions, or achieve over 50 vision score in a game in which you win.
